Having acquired a range of skills and experience in both the UK and international pharmaceutical industry, Geraldine Flavell worked for a number of years as a medical writer and trainer, while fulfilling several regular locum positions in community pharmacy. She became a tutor for the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) in 2003, leaving behind her role as a community pharmacy manager when the CPPE regional manager role was created. For the last two years she has been responsible for eighteen CPPE tutors and has recently developed blended learning programmes for both sexual health and immunisation services in pharmacies.
