Helen joined the Royal Pharmaceutical Society as Chief Executive in July 2010. Prior to this, she was the Chief Executive of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the organisation that sets the curriculum and examines doctors in the  speciality of O&G, sets standards in women’s health care and leads on professional developments in the specialty both in the UK and internationally.  Helen has spent all her working life in health care, originally training as a nurse and then moving into management in a variety of roles within the NHS. She has held the position of Chief Executive in two hospital trusts in London.  Helen is  also a Governor at Ravensbourne College and is chair of their audit committee.
