Rachel graduated from Bristol University vet school in 2002 with honours. She then spent 3 years working in Newmarket as an equine stud vet, heavily involved with thoroughbred breeding work and foal medicine.
After attaining her RCVS Certificate in Equine Stud Medicine she decided it was time to diversify and moved to first opinion mixed practice, first in Essex and then in the South West. Rachel then joined Merial, as the Veterinary Technical Manager for FRONTLINE, where she has now been for almost 3 years.
