Jignesh graduated from UWIST in1987 and completed his preregistration with Underwoods in 1988. He has been a local community pharmacist with Rohpharm Limited in Plaistow since he qualified in 1988 and one of the directors of the company. At the 2010 Pharmacy Business Awards and at the 2011 C+D pharmacy awards, Rophpharm won the Pharmacy Innovation Awards on both occasions.  Jignesh was Vice Chair of North East London LPC from 2000-2005. He has sat on various PCT committees (Medicines Management, Community Pharmacy Working Group, PNA Steering Group, Lift Board and many more).

Rignesh has a strong passion about developing the role of the community pharmacist to integrate pharmacy with local and national public health and medicines management agenda. Rohpharm helped develop the Newham NHS Health Checks Vascular in 2007 for local GP Practices and Pharmacies and  are one of the 1st Pharmacy based pilots for HIV screening and prevention of HIV and STIs. They work very closely with local GP practices to monitor and review patients with long term conditions like angina and diabetes.
Jignesh ‘s team help manage the pharmacy allowing him to spend  time with patients which he considers to be a great asset.  He believes that staff training is essential to get motivated staff that can help market and deliver services.
