Stephen Foster

Pharmacy Superintendent, Pierremont Pharmacy; One of the National Clinical Leaders for Pharmacy; East Kent LPF Lead; Healthcare Professionals’ Commissioning Network Lead

Stephen has been at the forefront of leadership in pharmacy for a number of years, sitting on the PEC of his local PCT until 2006; he was also the Strategy Lead for Kent LPC before becoming more involved in both professional and clinical leadership at a national level. He currently works with Dr. David Colin-Thomé, the Primary Care Tsar, in clinical leadership; with Dr. James Kingsland, the PBC Tsar, in the National Clinical Network; and leads the Healthcare Professionals’ Commissioning Network for all the primary care professions. He has also recently been invited to join the Council of the National Association of Primary Care (NAPC) – the first non-GP to hold such a position.
