55 Hours of FREE CPD Education and Training
The Pharmacy Show this year is offering two-days of comprehensive, FREE CPD education.
New to 2012, there will be SIX education programmes in total, featuring more than 55 hours of insightful and practical seminars and workshop programmes across all the key issues which will help both community and hospital pharmacists run better, more profitable pharmacy businesses and establishments.
Key industry associations, regulators as well as leading figures from both indepdenent and multiple organisations will share their strategies for the future, while key policy makers will tell you what lies ahead for community pharmacy. Experts will share their tactics for the issues that affect you, from commissioning to developing profitable partnerships and revenue streams.
Given the recent introduction of the New Medicine Service (NMS), the combination of the Clinical & Services Forum 1 should equip the community pharmacist with the relevant clinical knowledge to make the most of the opportunity that the NMS provides.
Key theraputic areas covered will include Anti-Coagulation, Cardiology, Respiratory disease/COPD, Diabetes, Pain management, Mental health, and unique sessions will cover the New Medicines Service (NMS), MUR’s and other new commissioned and private services in community pharmacy.
Due to popular demand, the Clinical & Services Forum 2 has been created to cover the same ground as Clinical 1 & Services Forum, but will allow us to cover more of it!
This conference stream offers training modules for counter assistants and technicians looking to improve their knowledge in different therapy areas and to help them offer patients better advice on OTC medicines and retail products.
