The Pharmacy Show has gone from strength to strength and it certainly looks very successful this year. It’s so important to bring pharmacists together as there are very few occasions, if any, where the industry can gather to engage in conversation, debate policy changes, and do business all in one place.
Richard Thomas, Editor, Pharmacy Magazine
This is the second year I have attended the Pharmacy Show. I find the conference extremely useful and I think this year’s workshops have been very interesting, covering many key subject areas such as clinical data, the position of locums in the market, and other major trends.
Cristina Culita, Locum pharmacist
I am looking at opening an online pharmacy, so I’m really happy that I attended the show. I’ve collected CPD, picked up loads of relevant content, and learnt lots from the seminars. I particularly enjoyed the sessions on public health and blood pressure too.
Kamila Grabowska, Pharmacy technician, Lloyds, Dorset
I’ve been involved with the Pharmacy Show years and it always attracts a very engaged audience. People come here to discuss latest innovations and ideas, and they’re interested in the progress the industry is making.
Mohammed Hussain, Systems Commissioning Manager, Strategic Systems and Technology, Patients and Information, NHS England
This is a good way to catch up with people and find out the latest in pharmacy from the stands and the lectures. In a busy pharmacy, it’s hard to keep track of everything going on, but everything is here in one place.
Chandra Gohil, Pharmacy Owner, Gohil Chemist
The Pharmacy Show is at the cutting edge of innovation, clinical pharmacy and commissioning. It engages interest and gets people talking. There’s nothing like this show anywhere else. It’s hugely beneficial for pharmacy.
Ian Strachan, Chairman, National Pharmacy Association
The educational element of this show is a great way to increase your knowledge - the children’s mental health talk was particularly inspirational. There are some interesting products on the exhibition floor too. It’s been a very enjoyable event and has given me some new ideas to introduce back in the pharmacy.
Anastasia Thomas, Pharmacy Manager
I’ve been coming to this show for years. The mix of suppliers and talks works well for me. I own seven shops and bring my staff for the clinical talks, while I look for products and services that will benefit my business. This is a key event for pharmacists.
Taha Mohamedali, Pharmacy Owner
I come to this show most years; I always pick up something that helps me in the day to day business. It’s good to be able to see all the suppliers in one place; it really helps to make buying decisions.
Liam Bradley, Pharmacy Owner
This is a very useful show. You can learn from the talks and find out about new products on the show floor. I always get something out it; that’s why I keep coming back.
Martin Bennett, Pharmacy Owner
The Pharmacy Show is extremely well organised and the audience is very engaged. There’s so much going on and there’s so much changing in pharmacy that it’s really important that people don’t approach that change in isolation. People need to get out there and compare notes with colleagues, support each other and that’s why an event like this is so important.
Duncan Rudkin, Chief Executive, General Pharmaceutical Council
What a wonderful event! The Pharmacy Show is the ideal destination for keeping up to date with latest developments in the pharmacy industry, while still providing a key platform for the commercial elements of our business.
Fin McCaul, Pharmacist, Prestwich Pharmacy Ltd
It’s my first time here and it’s been really good. The talks let you know what’s coming along in the future and learn about best practice. Being able to access the experts in pharmacy, people you follow on Twitter, has been really useful.
Samantha Quaye, Pharmacy Technician, Kings College Hospital
I teach vaccination technique to pharmacists, so this show has been hugely beneficial for me to learn more about the role of pharmacists and the challenges they face. It means I can deliver a better service to pharmacists.
Mark Noble, Pharmacists Trainer, Charles Boe Training
A colleague recommended this show to me. I could only make one day, but it’s been very useful, especially for getting CPD.
Gideon Addo, Pharmacist
An excellent show. I come every year to keep up to date with what’s going on in pharmacy, to network and to lean about the latest products on the market.
Anthony Collins, Pharmacist and Business Development Manager, Wilcare Pharma
The Pharmacy Show 2016 is going extremely well – there’s a real buzz about it and the delegates are very keen to learn. There’s a real thirst and engagement to find out about new developments which is really encouraging.
Anna Murphy, Consultant Respiratory Pharmacist, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
I’ve been really impressed with the turnout this year – there’s such a buzz. The Pharmacy Show is the biggest industry event in terms of both size and scope. This is a great opportunity to showcase our innovative services and it’s at the heart of what we want to achieve – so it’s a great partnership.
Alistair Buxton, Director of NHS Services, Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee
We all need reminding about what the industry is about and this is a good show for doing that.
Pradeep Prabhu, Pharmacist
My sessions have attracted very select audiences, with very high levels of interest. The delegates are asking questions, engaging in debate and following up with me after the presentations. This is the biggest event in the pharmacy world.
Nick Hunter, Chief Officer, Nottinghamshire, Doncaster and Rotherham LPCs
