There is no cure for Parkinson’s and symptom management relies heavily on medicines. This brings with it opportunities for pharmacy professionals to make a really positive impact on the lives of people with Parkinson’s. This session hopes to show it’s not as complex as you think and there are many easy ways that you can make a difference without needing to be a specialist. This session will provide an overview of symptoms and share some practical tips that can make the world of difference to people with Parkinson’s. It will also share useful signposting for both patients, their carers and professionals to gain information and advice.

Aim: To share practical and simple tips and opportunities for all pharmacy professionals to have a positive impact on People with Parkinson’s and their carers

Shelley Jones, Consultant Pharmacist Neurosciences - King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
