The Community Pharmacy Patient Safety Group, hosted by the Company Chemists’ Association, has been in operation for ten years, bringing together Medication Safety Officers from across community pharmacy.
This panel discussion with Richard Cattell, Deputy Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, Professor Henrietta Hughes, Patient Safety Commissioner, England and Jackie Giltrow, Head of Professional Standards, Payden’s & Chair of the Community Pharmacy Patient Safety Group, will cover the most pressing patient safety challenges (and opportunities), explore the role of patient safety beyond preventing dispensing errors, and how the patient safety agenda can keep pace with the new world of community pharmacy.
