Advancing Pharmacy in the UK and worldwide
In this interview, Dr Duggan describes how FIP - an organisation that represents more than five million professionals - works to advance pharmacy worldwide through its many projects and links with WHO and UNESCO. Dr Duggan is a staunch advocate for pharmacists. She emphasises that pharmacists should be fully aware of their worth and the unique, transferable skills that allow them to move across sectors - from drug discovery to patient-facing roles. She advises pharmacists not to wait for perfection to stand in the way of good, urging them to demonstrate their impact confidently to policymakers because, ultimately, "without pharmacy, we don't have healthcare"
