Walk for Wellbeing & tackling burnout in pharmacy
)
This year, Pharmacist Support — the profession’s independent charity — launched its first ever Walk for Wellbeing, a nationwide campaign tackling loneliness in pharmacy one step at a time.
Our latest Workforce Wellbeing Survey revealed that 70% of pharmacy professionals often feel lonely or isolated and that burnout remains a critical issue across the sector. The Walk for Wellbeing is one way we’re encouraging the profession to come together, connect, and raise vital funds for our free, confidential support services.
We’re proud to be bringing this theme of connection and wellbeing to the Pharmacy Show this October. Visit our stand (L45) to discover more about Walk for Wellbeing and the range of support available, and don’t miss our dedicated session:
Addressing burnout and managing wellbeing: best practices for building a healthy and happy workplace
12 October - 12:30–13:00 - Professional Development & Careers Theatre
In this session, we’ll share insights from our latest Workforce Wellbeing Survey and roundtable with the RPS, exploring both individual approaches to wellbeing and effective workplace interventions to tackle burnout and support mental health. We’ll also be unveiling new resources focused on nutrition and its impact on wellbeing and financial wellbeing.
Together, we can walk, connect, and build a healthier future for our profession.
