The One Show on BBC One showcased community pharmacy to a prime time TV audience on Tuesday evening (10 May). The five minute segment featured several independent community pharmacies and was a great advert for community pharmacy overall.  It’s well worth a watch, https://youtu.be/dYxnPQErrLM

His Royal Highness (HRH) the Prince of Wales hosted a reception at St James’s Palace to recognise the work of community pharmacy teams across the United Kingdom. The National Pharmacy Association were delighted to be able to support the Prince’s team with making arrangements for this very special occasion. This showcased the achievements of pharmacy teams up and down the country and highlight the value of the profession in the public eye. Read more in this article which includes a link to Prince Charles’ speech, in which he praises pharmacy teams for their “dedication and professionalism”.
