Training only, no Equipment provided. Endoscopic & Head Loupes Assisted Microsuction training is conducted at your pharmacy or clinic at no extra cost or you can come a venue close to you. We like to conduct the training at a venue in your region once a month so if you do miss a training date then there will always be another date very soon. What does the Training Involve:
2 Seminars to be carried out remotely before onsite training, seminars include the following topics:
Seminar 1 (1.5hrs)
Course Materials, Handbook, Essential & Recommended Reading
Earwax Removal: Historical and Current Perspective
Earwax: General Characteristics and Production
Earwax Removal Equipment included and its critical evaluation
Outer Ear Anatomy and Physiology
Informed Consent, Record Keeping and Communication needs
Seminar 2 (1.5hrs)
Symptoms 1 of occluded wax
PPE and Infection Control
Contraindications to earwax removal
Pathologies of the outer and middle ear
Practical Onsite Training Itinerary (4-6hrs)
- Delivery of your equipment (if purchased)
- Setup, tutorial and maintenance of the microsuction machine, low pressure irrigation and iPhone Endoscope
- Demos of endoscopic microsuction techniques, low pressure irrigation and manual tools on the dummies & time to practise these methods yourself on the dummies with 1-1 time with the trainer
- Demos of endoscopic microsuction techniques, low pressure irrigation and manual tools on the live-patients & time to practise these methods yourself on live-patients with 1-1 time with the trainer
- A demo of a live appointment and then an opportunity to for the trainees to do a live appointment from start to finish

- Time to revisit any techniques that trainees may wish to practise further on
