Altrient is manufactured by LivOn Labs who pioneered the world’s first liposomal vitamin C supplement in 2004 using a patented process to deliver superior absorption levels.
During Altrient’s encapsulation process, nutrients are wrapped up in tiny phospholipid spheres called liposomes. This double phospholipid membrane shields nutrients from being broken down during digestion, securing maximised absorption from the intestine into the blood stream. The liposome membrane is very similar to the phospholipid cell membranes. Altrient liposomes seamlessly fuse with these cell membranes, overcoming cellular absorption barriers to deliver nutrients to the cells, where they are needed most.
