How to Engage with your Community in the Digital Age

It’s the way our world as we know it works. Everywhere we look, we’re being influenced. Billboards, shop windows, the TV, and over the last 10 years...it’s the smartphone that has taken control of us. The device has become an integral part of the human existence.

According to Statista, adults in the UK spend on average between 2 and 5 hours on their smartphone every single day, and most of this time is spent using one of the many social media channels that currently exist. Smartphones and the apps that come with it
have altered human behaviour and revolutionised the way we conduct our business and leisure.

The point I’m trying to make here is that in order for your business to be a success today, you have to adjust to this new form of consumer behaviour. You have to connect with people through their smartphones because that is where they can most conveniently access information, is how they are communicating and is what is influencing their decisions.

Over the last 18 months now, I have been creating and executing digital marketing strategies primarily for Independent Community Pharmacies and every single pharmacy owner I have worked with has recognised its value.
