A qualified pharmacist with more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and pharmacy leadership, Brij has built a distinguished career supporting the growth and success of community pharmacy across the UK. Prior to joining Avicenna, he held senior leadership roles, including serving as Deputy Pharmacy Superintendent at Sainsbury’s Pharmacy. As Managing Director of Avicenna, Brij leads one of the UK's largest independent pharmacy networks, supporting more than 1,300 member pharmacies. He is widely recognised for his expertise in commercial strategy, pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and healthcare service development. A passionate advocate for independent pharmacy, Brij works closely with contractors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to help pharmacies navigate an evolving healthcare landscape and unlock new opportunities for growth.
