Claire’s career in community pharmacy started back in 2007. During her career she has held multiple roles, first qualifying as a Pharmacy Technician in 2012 and also becoming a Pharmacy Manager within that time. She was given her first step into field management in 2017, when she became a Regional Manager responsible for supporting stores to deliver their business agenda. She is very passionate about being a Regional Manager as coaching, influencing, and developing people is very important to her. In 2021 she secured a position working within a Superintendents team, supporting the divisional management and regional teams to ensure that their professional standards were in line with GPhC standards of performance, conduct and ethics. This was a very exciting role as a Pharmacy Technician, as she is very passionate about patient care, professional standards and making a difference to patients and customers lives. She currently works as a Regional Operations Manager for Well Pharmacy. This role it allows her to work with amazing healthcare professionals, supporting them to deliver incredible patient care. The exciting part of this role is that it shows that Pharmacy Technicians have now been recognised as a key part of the healthcare profession. Pharmacy Technicians now play a crucial part to the health and wellbeing in our communities, through vital services they can now deliver. This is an exciting evolution for the Pharmacy profession, that she is proud to be part of.
