Darshan Negandhi
Clinical Pharmacist / Education Lead,
Morden PCN
Darshan Negandhi is a senior clinical pharmacist, independent prescriber and education lead with a strong interest in clinical leadership, integrated neighbourhood working and the evolving role of pharmacy within multidisciplinary care. His work focuses on connecting community pharmacy, general practice, specialist services and wider system partners to improve access, reduce health inequalities and deliver more proactive, joined-up care closer to patients’ homes.
Darshan has led innovative service-development initiatives that demonstrate how pharmacists can contribute beyond traditional organisational boundaries. This includes an award-winning community pharmacy CKD programme, bringing earlier identification, cardiovascular and renal risk optimisation, and closer integration with general practice and specialist renal teams into a community setting.
His clinical interests span respiratory medicine, cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, diabetes and medicines optimisation, with a particular focus on translating evidence and national guidance into practical improvements in patient care.
As an education lead, Darshan designs and delivers clinical education for pharmacists, GPs and multidisciplinary teams across London and beyond, using practical, case-based learning to build clinical confidence, capability and leadership.
