Graham has been working in mental health pharmacy for over 25 years, currently as Lead Clinical Pharmacist Education & Training at Mersey Care’s Medicines Management Team, and previously seconded as Training Programme Director for Mental Health in the North West School of Pharmacy & Medicines Optimisation, part of NHS England.
He is a credentialed advanced pharmacist with, and a Fellow of, the College of Mental Health Pharmacy (CMHP); he is a prescriber, Designated Supervisor, Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) and Educational Programme Director (EPD) for Foundation Trainee Pharmacists in the Trust.
He is passionate about helping people with mental health problems understand more about their medication and supports them to find their own solutions.
He advocates for pharmacy staff to be more aware of the risks and presentation of suicide and believes that being a Suicide First Aider should be a core skill for all registered pharmacy professionals.
