Passionately focused on patient safety as a hospital pharmacist for a number of years in large teaching hospitals in London and the North West, Jodie moved to NICE in 2013, working in the Medical Education Team across the North of England and Northern Ireland preparing and presenting material to help implementation of NICE guidance and TAs. From there, Jodie went on to be a Lecturer in the Medical school at The University of Manchester; designing and developing innovative multi-professional teaching and learning opportunities for students in their clinical years. She continues as Senior Lecturer in prescribing and medicines safety for the MBChB programme and joined the vaccine rollout early January where she is Lead Pharmacist for the vaccination hub at Wirral University Hospital NHS Trust.
