Kris Murphy FCCA is an accountant with over 30 years' experience, specialising in pharmacy throughout his career. He has worked closely with independent pharmacy owners for the duration, and since 2016 has been Financial Director for several pharmacy companies. Over three decades he has heard the same complaints from pharmacy owners — falling margins, rising wage costs, the expectation to do more for less, and a growing stack of subscriptions that do not talk to each other and quietly consume time nobody has. Those conversations became the brief for JeanieIQ, a platform developed with Shane Smith and expert input drawn from a range of sectors, bringing HR, rota, payroll, fleet, care home administration and locum sourcing into one place. Kris's role has been to keep it grounded in what pharmacy owners actually asked for.
