Nitin Makadia is a registered pharmacist, clinical service developer and Clinical Safety Officer at The Digital Health Assurance Company. He has 35 years of experience across community pharmacy, healthcare operations, digital health and the development of new clinical services. Nitin’s work in the UK medical cannabis sector includes supporting the design, regulatory readiness and operation of clinical and pharmacy services. He advises organisations on patient pathways, medicines governance, controlled drugs, clinical safety, CQC requirements and the practical implementation of safe and compliant models of care. Having begun his career in frontline community pharmacy and operational management, Nitin brings a practical understanding of how new treatments and services affect pharmacists, patients and the wider healthcare system. His work focuses on connecting clinical practice, regulation, technology and day-to-day service delivery.
