“The future of pharmacy isn’t built in one lane — it’s built at the intersections of clinical care, wellness, education and community.” Sonal Amin is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London and a practising pharmacist whose career spans community, hospital and the launch of Boots’ first wellness clinic. A sector innovator, she has spent more than a decade transforming pharmacy education — driving the shift towards independent prescribing, pioneering AI‑powered simulation training, expanding placement capacity and embedding future‑ready clinical skills across the MPharm. Her clinical focus includes women’s wellbeing, dermatology and minor ailments, and she has trained MPharm students as flu vaccinators, strengthening public health impact. Beyond academia, Sonal is a mentor championing women in STEMM, a contributor to global women’s health initiatives and a member of a national steering committee shaping attainment in higher education.
