Adnan Riaz

Adnan grew up in the Midlands and gained a BSc in Business and Information Systems. During his time at university he started working in healthcare, focusing his time in urgent and emergency care. After finishing university he was head hunted to run the consultancy team at an IT start-up delivering healthcare products across the NHS. Over the next ten years he set-up and delivered various national projects including the NHS 111 service to over 85% of England. He gained a vast amount of experience and skills ranging from management consultancy, delivery and product management. Later on in his career he spent time in commissioning and procurement of regional wider healthcare systems and services. For the last six years Adnan has worked at NHS Digital (now NHS England) delivering national products such as the Covid Clinical Assessment Service, the EDDI product as part of the NHS 111 First programme. One of the greatest skills he has is the ability to create high performing teams, stakeholder management and leadership.
