Head of Pharmacy Integration, NHS England & NHS Improvement
Anne works is responsible for leading the programme of work supported by the NHS England Pharmacy Integration Fund. Prior to this she was the Chief Pharmacist at NHS Direct for 13 years, before moving to NHS England in 2013 as the NHS 111 Pharmacy lead supporting the integrated urgent care programme. Anne’s early career was in hospital pharmacy specialising in HIV/AIDS and Special Care Baby Unit clinical pharmacy. This was followed by a time in the early 1990s as Director of the South East Thames Regional Health Authority Medicines Information Service at Guys Hospital before spending two and a half years in South Africa working for the Health Services Development Unit, University of Witswatersrand, Johannesburg.
