Dany Ros
Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner,
Pembroke Medical Group
Pharmacist committed to practicing patient centred care with 25 years of experience with a keen interest in COPD, asthma, diabetes and heart failure. Working in the NHS, my knowledge encompasses community, commissioning groups, and primary care settings. Studies in France and the UK have provided me with the highest standard of training: I completed a Doctorate in Pharmacy (Paris), Postgraduate Diploma in Community Pharmacy (Cardiff), and independent prescribing (University of the West of England); and have started my ACP training with Plymouth. I am based within a busy medical practice, seeing patients with a variety of complex issues (acute presentation and long-term condition). I am also an Associate Lecturer at UWE, supervise other pharmacists, and am a Designated Prescribing Practitioner. I enjoy sharing my experience with colleagues. My motivation is to achieve excellent results for patients, helping them improve their quality of life by better engaging with their treatment.
