David Ruddy
Head of Product – Booking and Referral Standard,
NHS England
David has eighteen years’ experience working with Healthcare Technology, helping to develop and deliver industry leading solutions. He comes from a technical background in software engineering and academic research which is a foundation for providing consultancy and leadership with a passion for innovating solutions through technology. David has a special interest in interoperability in healthcare and has successfully led and delivered programs and projects in many healthcare sectors and providers across the UK and internationally.
Most recently David has led the successful inception, development, and delivery of several interoperability standards at NHS England as well as creating the vision that became the Booking and Referral Standard (BaRS). This vision is helping to establish a new blueprint for creating and delivering interoperability standards to the NHS.
