Dr Seth Rankin
Co-founder and Co-CEO, London Medical Laboratory
Seth graduated from Auckland Medical School, New Zealand in 1990 and arrived in London in 1998. He worked for International SOS in international medical assistance, then joined the NHS in 2004 and became managing partner of Wandsworth Medical Centre in 2006, growing the practice from 2,700 patients to 18,000. In 2012 he was elected to jointly represent 42 GP practices on the board of Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group and was clinical lead for several innovative service redesigns in the community, several involving pharmacies. He founded London Travel Clinic in 2010 which grew organically to 8 sites before exiting to EVG in 2018. He founded London Doctors Clinic with private equity funding in 2014 which grew to 18 sites then exited to Spire Healthcare in 2022. Seth and his wife Flavia founded London Medical Laboratory in 2017. Their vision was to make it easy for anyone to directly access the invaluable health information that a blood test can provide, and this has been achieved by working with hundreds of pharmacy partners throughout the UK. They have proven that working together with pharmacies saves lives and helps businesses.
