Jackie is a superintendent pharmacist director with her own award winning community pharmacy and was delighted to have become a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2017. She has worked in many pharmacy disciplines, starting her career at the Royal Free Hospital in London, moving on to complete a PhD in targeting anti-cancer drugs at De Montfort University, then to WCPPE for a year, then on to formulation science in the Pharmaceutical Industry and eventually to purchasing her own pharmacy in Devon. She has run her pharmacy for 23 years with her husband Martyn.
She has specialised in looking at how community pharmacy teams can help their patients on the cancer pathway. This work has culminated in a project on early diagnosis entitled Not Normal For You? and the creation of the e-learning launched April 2021 entitled Let’s Communicate Cancer.
