Jill is responsible for the commissioning of community pharmacy services across England and has overseen the introduction of the Pharmacy Quality Scheme and the commissioning of clinical services from community pharmacy. She has recently been responsible for setting up COVID-19 vaccination through local vaccination services with a particular focus on those provided by community pharmacy contractors and for supporting the primary care response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She has interests in urgent care, quality and patient safety and research interests in hi-tech healthcare at home and shared care. Jill is a registered pharmacist and has worked with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement on patient safety collaboratives. She has broad experience of working in hospital, general practice, community services, research, and academic settings as well as in community pharmacy and has worked across the NHS in various strategic roles.
