Jill is responsible for the commissioning of over £2.5billion of community pharmacy services across England through the community pharmacy contractual framework. She has interests in quality and patient safety and urgent care and is responsible for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme. She was responsible for setting up local vaccination services for COVID-19 vaccination through community pharmacy and was key in managing the national primary care COVID-19 response.
Jill is a registered pharmacist and has worked with the IHI on safety collaboratives. She has a PhD in hi-tech healthcare at home and shared care. She has broad experience of working in hospital, general practice, community services, research and academic settings as well as community pharmacy and has worked across the NHS in various strategic roles.
