Louise registered as a pharmacist in 1995 having qualified from Brighton University. Louise worked at Celesio/Lloydspharmacy for over 20 years in a variety of roles progressing from pre-registration student to Relief Manager and then Pharmacy Manager. In 2000 Louise completed a Clinical Diploma in Community Pharmacy at Aston University and combined her pharmacy manager with sessional work at an eight partner GP Practice, a role she did for six years. Before entering her roles within service development, Louise managed several pharmacy IT programmes until later becoming a professional services development manager specialising in medicines management, respiratory and the pharmacy contract. Over her 12 years within Pharmacy Services Development Louise lead various teams with both clinical and training responsibilities and gained a Diploma in Management from Northampton University. In January 2014, Louise headed up the clinical team of ten pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the development and implementation of a wide range of services. Louise then gained further experience in the tendering world as Head of Operations for Healthcare Together, a joint venture with the NPA and PSNC. She more recently worked for Cambrian Alliance supporting independent contractors with their professional services and training requirements. Louise has authored many clinical and management training modules over the past few years. Louise recently joined the NPA as Head of Learning and Development.
