Louise registered as a pharmacist in 1995 having qualified from Brighton University. Louise worked at Celesio for over 20 years in a variety of roles including working as a Pharmacy Manager and then combining the role with sessional work at a GP practice , a role she did for many years. With her love for continued learning in 2000 Louise completed a Clinical Diploma in Community Pharmacy at Aston University and before starting her roles within service development specialising in medicines management and respiratory, Louise managed several pharmacy IT programmes. Over her 12 years within Pharmacy Services Development Louise lead various teams and clinical responsibilities and gained a Diploma in Management from Northampton University. In January 2014 Louise headed up the clinical team of ten pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the development and implementation of a wide range of services across various channels. Louise became a successful consultant for several years working across the sector including the NPA and PSNC as Head of Operations for Healthcare Together, for Cambrian Alliance as a Service Development Manager and as a freelance writer for varying clients. In 2019, Louise joined the NPA as Head of Learning and Development supporting the workforce agenda for both accredited and non-accredited training.
