Mike has been an independent pharmacy contractor in West Dorset since 2008. He was a member of the National Pharmacy Association Board from 2010-2018, and PSNC 2015-2018. He is an independent prescriber with an interest in dermatology, completing the University of Hertfordshire's Practical Primary Care Dermatology course in 2022. Outside of pharmacy he was elected first to South Somerset District Council, then to Somerset County Council which has since become Somerset Council. He is the current Chair of the Audit Committee of the 4th largest Council in the UK.
