Richard is a pharmacist and has extensive experience working as the CEO of Community Pharmacy Avon and Wiltshire whilst also running a successful community pharmacy, Chippenham Pharmacy and Health Clinic, a Pharmacy Consulting business, BRR Consulting and an online training company, VirtualOutcomes. He has successfully set up a pharmacy from scratch that blends NHS services with private services.  With three consultation rooms, a clinic waiting area and no retail space, the vision for this pharmacy is truly futuristic. His passion for supporting and promoting community pharmacy has led to the successful deployment of the newly commissioned NHS Pharmacy First Service, with the highest consultation numbers across England for both clinic pathways and minor illness. His vision for the future of community pharmacy is for the highly skilled pharmacy team to be offering both preventative health advice to stop people becoming ill, whilst also supporting people with a diagnosed condition.  That way pharmacies can truly be part of the local community. Richard also has a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry and is currently a Senior Visiting Lecturer at the University of Bath, Pharmacy and Pharmacology department.
