Has extensive experience in primary care as a pharmacist, and working in hospitals. Recently worked as a NHS 111 pharmacist advisor dealing with toxic ingestion, and medicines information queries from the public. Now works as the Joint Pharmacy Professional Development Lead in the academic team at Bradford College teaching on post-registration courses for pharmacy technicians, and at Arden University as a Healthcare Management Lecturer teaching nurses and carers. A book author who is a very keen advocate on using research to improve pharmacy/ healthcare practice and patient outcomes. Occasionally locums in pharmacies to keep a hand in practice, and is passionate about research and education to aid the development of skills in pharmacy teams, and in promoting integrated care.
