Dr Samira Osman is a senior prescribing pharmacist and academic at the University of Birmingham, with expertise in community pharmacy, primary care, and public health education. She is the National Director of Ramadan Education at the British Islamic Medical Association, leading national and international efforts to promote safe prescribing, culturally competent care, and health equity during Ramadan. Her research focuses on self-care, health literacy, and inclusive health education, and she teaches across the MPharm programme, preparing future pharmacy professionals for person-centred practice.
