Shurti is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice at the University of Hertfordshire and Senior Clinical Pharmacist based in North London. With a strong foundation in primary care, she combines hands-on clinical experience with academic expertise to enhance the development of future pharmacists. In her role at the University, she teaches across the MPharm degree programme, delivering both practical and theoretical education with a particular focus on prescribing. Her clinical interests centre on chronic disease management, particularly Type 2 Diabetes. She contributes to the advancement of diabetes care as a proud member of the Science and Research Advisory Group at Diabetes UK. Alongside her clinical and academic roles, she is an active advocate for the pharmacy profession through her work with the PDA regional committee for primary care pharmacists in South East England.
